Pottery. A purple-brown fabric with sparse tint white flecks, and with a thick glossy dark brown splashed glaze, lightly corrugated narrow handle fragment. The sheen and colour vaguely resemble that of Cistercian Ware - which this is not, and may point to a later medieval date. Suggested date: Late Medieval, 1350-1500.

Weight: 52.22gms
