A fragment of a cast copper-alloy bracelet or armlet of late Roman date, c. AD 250-410. The fragment comprises a small portion of the body of the bracelet which is rectangular in plan and slightly convex in section. The upper face of the bracelet is ornately decorated with raised panels a ring and dot motif, two vertical parallel ribs, three ring and dot motifs each and a vertical groove. The underside is plain. It survives to a length of 18mm, 8mm wide by 2mm thick.
This bracelet finds parallels with Crummy's multiple motif bracelets or armlets (see Crummy 1983: nos. 1724-1732) in addition to an example recorded on the PAS database (see record SF-F1CF88).
