An incomplete post medieval copper alloy pastry jigger, dating from 1700-1800. The object is T shaped but bent at a 90 degrees angle at one end and slightly bend back at the other end. The handle is oval in cross section with a worn break at one end which widens and flattens into the head of the jigger. This end has three circular collars. At the other end of the handle is the remains of a toothed head consisting of moulded V shaped notches running the length of the head. This would have been for cutting and pressing to the pastry. There are four circular collars grooved around the centre of the handle. The stem of the handle bulges slightly outwards between the collars and terminals. The jigger has a light green patina.
The jigger is 60.1mm in length, 14.4mm maximum width, 4.4mm maximum thickness, and weighs 10.55g.
