A worn copper-alloy halfpenny of George I (AD 1714-1727), dating AD 1717-1724. Obverse shows an unclear laureate and cuirassed bust right. Obverse legend is illegible with the exception of a single pellet stop just above the 3 o'clock position. Reverse is extremely worn, Britannia seated left just visible. Reverse legend and exergue are illegible. Die axis is 6 o'clock. Weight is 7.40g, diameter is 27.2mm, thickness is 1.9mm.
