A copper-alloy buckle frame with integral plate dating to the mid fourteenth to early fifteenth century AD. The buckle frame is oval in plan and D-shaped in section. The outer edge of the frame possesses a slight lip and there is a notch to accommodate the pin. The frame extends to the remains of an integral forked spacer, which is incomplete. The buckle measures 33mm in length, 28mm in width and 3mm in thickness.
