A copper-alloy post-medieval anonymous early Nuremberg jetton (c. 1500-1575). The jetton is pierced through the bottom of the orb on the reverse.
The obverse has a central rosette surrounded by three crowns and three lis which alternate and are at equal distances. Each crown has three circles at each of the three points of the crown. The majority of the obverse inscription is not legible, with only 'NCRV' visible.
There is a cinquefoil in centre of obverse, with annulets on crowns. The legible parts of the reverse inscription read: '...HODI NBHODIN..'.
There are parallels of the design on the PAS database, although none match the inscriptions or have the circles on the crowns on the obverse or the circles on the reverse.
The jetton is in good condition and has a green patina with brown around the edges.
