An almost complete Medieval silver penny of Henry VI (1422-1461), minted at Calais. Annulet issue, 1422-1427. Initial mark: cross V (North 1991: 74, ref: 1432).

Obverse: [hE]nRIC REX AnGLIE (double saltire stops), Crowned bust facing (annulets by neck).

Reverse: VIL/LA/CAL/IS (double saltire stops), Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant, an annulet in VIL and CAL quadrants.

Diameter: 17.6mm. Weight: 0.82g. DA=12:1.
