A very thin fragment of a post-Medieval copper-alloy farthing of Charles I (1625-1649). Type 1, Richmond 'round' (1625-1634). Initial marks: missing (North 1991: 164, ref: 2277).

Obverse: [C]ARO:D:G:M[AG BRI]; Crown with two sceptres in saltire through it.

Reverse: [FRAN ET] HIB:REX; Crowned harp.

Length: 17.0mm; width: 9.2mm. Weight: 0.14g.
