An incomplete copper alloy Roman Hod Hill style brooch, dating to the period c. AD 43-75. The brooch has moulded longitudinal ridges or reeded decoration down the down upper half of the bow while the lower half has two moulded neck collars above the now missing foot of the brooch. The head of the brooch is broken and missing as is the catchplate on the reverse.
