A lead/tin alloy post medieval button dating from the c.17th century. The button head is discoidal in shape and domed, with a central pellet projecting slightly. On the reverse there is a circular looped shank, this has a light green patina suggesting it is copper alloy. It measures 12.6mm in diameter across the head, and 8.2mm in length. It weighs 2.85g.
