Lead alloy medallion fragment. A small chip from a medallion, probably a private commemorative issue; the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria in 1897 may be one likely occasion compatible with the royal styles invoked here, though other royal events around the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries were similarly marked.
