An incomplete copper alloy Roman pin of Cool Group 6, with a button and cordon head dating to 50-150 AD. The pin has a button shaped knob head with two grooves cut into the top of the shank underneath the head. The shank then decends and narrows, before ending in a slightly curved and worn break. The shank is circular in cross section. The pin measures 27.6mm in length, 7.9mm in width, and weighs 2.00g.
