A complete lead spindle whorl or weight, dating from the medieval to post medieval period, 1100-1800 AD. The weight is bi-conical in cross section, and oval in shape, with a sub-circular pierced hole through the centre. The upper and lower surface is flat. It measures 26.3mm in length, 23.4mm in width, 8.9mm in thickness, and weighs 24.85g.
