A copper alloy thimble. A small domed thimble. The top is smoothly domed and does not have a tonsure (an area bare of indentations). The body is circular. The indentations are small and circular; they have been applied in vertical rows over the whole of the exterior surface, all the way to the base. The lower edge is slightly damaged and there is a small hole part way up the body. The method of manufacture is not clear.
