A post-Medieval cast copper-alloy Moroccan 3-falus of Moulay Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman also known as Muhammad IV, Sultan of Morocco (1859-1873). The coin is dated AH 1287 (1870) and was minted at Fez.

The dates on Moroccan coins are Hejira (AH) dates based on the lunar year (354 days) and starting when Mohammed was alive (about AD 600).

Obverse: Seal of Solomon within a circle (star of David).

Reverse: Date of 1287, issuing mint above.
