A copper-alloy Roman finger ring fragment. It consists of the shoulder, the oval bezel and part of the hoop. The hoop has a D-shaped cross-section; the shoulder has a curved profile. The bezel is recessed to house a glass or gem setting now missing; the raised rim of the bezel slightly expands into a triangle with its apex tapering towards the hoop. The breaks are well worn.
The fragment joins find SF-81DC06
It is assigned to the Henig's type II (1974, p. 55, fig. 1), which dates to the 1st-3rd century.
