An incomplete copper alloy double loop trapezoidal buckle, one loop is missing. The buckle has pointed ends, at either end of the strap bar there are knops, the outside edge is bevelled. the incomplete iron pin partially survives.
Buckles of this type date to c.1570-1700. This buckle is identical in style to No.513 in Whitehead (2003)
It is 22.54mm in length (strap bar to outer edge of frame), 21.68mm in width and weighs 3.93g.The outer part of the frame is 8.33mm to the point of the traingle.
