Silver gilt finger ring that has a bi-faceted bezel. There bezel is formed from two square panels with slightly concave faces, divided by a central transverse ridge. Each panel is decorated with two lines that span from one corner to the next creating a cross saltire that divides each panel into four triangles, the top and bottom triangles are decorated with a series of longitudinal lines; while the sides triangles have a triple set of central short lines. The shoulders are decorated with two deep transverse grooves with a v-shaped cross section; below is a flat panel with a central double line with diverging ends. This is flanked by three short outwardly projecting diagonal lines, probably forming a foliate pattern. The shoulders narrow to the D-shaped hoop which is also undecorated.

This type of ring is related to contemporary iconographic rings that are normally made of silver and display religious imagery in each of the facets. See WILT-2452A0, WILT-709CC7, GLO-218649 and SOM-FEF3D4 for parallels in silver.

All these examples are dated to the 15th to early 16th century, c. AD 1400-1550.
