An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy possible harness pendant suspension mount or hanger, possibly dating to c. AD 1200 - 1400. The pendant is L-shaped in plan. The remains of the pendant consist of a suspension loop with an incomplete rivet through the hole. The rivet is bent and loose. Attached to the suspension loop is a long thin rectangular stem which has incised diagonal lined decoration. the stem is D-shaped in cross-section. There are possibly remains of another suspension loop at the other end of the stem but only half survives. Projecting right from the bottom suspension loop is a rectangular attachment which is formed of two flat oval plates with rivet holes. The bottom plate is slightly bent towards the top plate and the rivet is missing. The rear of the pendant is flat and undecorated. The pendant has some areas of a light green patina and other areas of a darker green, and brown patina. There are also traces of gild around the suspension loop and the left side of the stem.
The object is 42.4mm in length, 17.3mm in width, 6.6mm in thickness, and weighs 5.72g.
