A flint scraper of Mesolithic to Neolithic date (9000 BC - 2200 BC).It is formed on a flake of opaque, partially patinated, orange hued flint. It has a straight proximal end and left side, and curved distal end and right side making it almost a quarter of a circle in plan. The ventral face is concave and the dorsal face is rugged with previous removal scars. The tertiary flake has short, stepped, abrupt retouch on the distal end and right side of the dorsal face. It is 16mm long, 17mm wide and 6mm thick. 1.48g.
