Grey flint serrated implement fragment. A thin flake with broad and narrow parallel flakes struck from its dorsal side and with a slightly concave ventral surface. Very short abrupt retouch executed from the dorsal aspect follows one long edge, producing serrations so fine they are more easily felt than observed. Misty white patina has developed over struck surfaces, suggesting the object has endured exposure to a calcareous environment after its deposition. The blade is broken, probably recently. Suggested date: Late Mesolithic, 7000-4000 BC.
