A copper alloy ring of uncertain date, from the Earliest Iron Age to the post-medieval period (c. 800 BC - AD 1800). It is circular in shape and is worn along one edge, suggesting it was attached to something. The ring is flat and oval in cross section. The ring is a dark green colour. The diameter of the ring measures 22.1mm. The ring is 3.2mm thick, and weighs 3.08g. Rings such as this would have been numerous and multi-purpose, for hanging keys from a belt for example. The buckle has a dark grey to black.
The buckle is 35.5mm in diameter, 4.1mm in thickness, and weighs 9.65g.
