An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman flat and plain edged enamelled disc brooch, dating to the period AD 80-250. This is 21.46mm in length and 16.10mm in width. It weighs 2.25g. Part of the rim, the catchplate's curl and the pin are missing.
A central roundel is set within a sexfoil with cream colour enamel inlay. In turn this s surrounded by a border which incorporates circular finials to each of the six 'petals'. The outer area, largely missing, has a dark blue inlay.
