Two flakes of flint debitage, probably of Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date, c. 3000-1000 BC.

1. Secondary flake, opaque grey/brown flint. Incomplete, missing its proximal end, lost to a natural break. Two sub-parallel negative removal scars present on dorsal face, one of which hinged. Short, semi-abrupt, sub-parallel retouch on dorsal face at distal end, with potential use related wear along right edge. Further retouch to ventral face, with short, semi-abrupt, scalar retouch in two places along right edge. Length 28.6mm; width 24.6mm; thickness 6.6mm; weight 4.77g.

2. Secondary flake, Secondary flake, opaque grey/brown flint. Incomplete, missing its proximal end, lost to a natural break. Very irregular in shape, with a sub-triangular cross section. A small nuber of abrupt, semi-parallel, short removals at distal end. length 28.0mm; width 13.3mm; thickness 10.2mm; weight 4.28g.

The irregular, relatively crude knapping and limited retouch would both probably suggest a date in the Later Neolithic or Bronze Age, although such a small number of undiagnostic flakes cannot be dated with certainty. This is concordant with the majority of material found in the vicinity, although earlier material has also been found.
