Complete copper-alloy post-medieval continental jetton dating to the period c. 1586 - 1635 AD, issued by Hans Krauwinkel II in Nuremberg, Germany. Obverse of three crowns arranged alternate with three lys, around a rose with eight oval petals; inscription: * HANNS . KRAVWINKEL . IN N. Reverse of imperial orb surmounted by cross patee within double-banded tressure of three arches; inscription: * HEIT . ROTT . MORGEN . DOTT. 'red today, dead tomorrow'. Rossette initial marks. The jetton is 21.22mm in diameter, 0.76mm in thickness and weighs 1.07g.
