A possible flint denticulate of uncertain date, probably Late Bronze to early Iron age date, but a late mesolithic or early Paleothic date cannot be discounted.

Description: The denticulate is an irregularly quadrilateral in plan with a wider lower face and slopping sides creating a 'pillow shape'. The tool is formed from a natural flake or accidental removal. It has blunted sides formed by invasive scaled abrupt retouch down one side and then irregular blunting on the other. The distal end has a limited denticulate retouch along it. The flint is very dark grey mottled to black. The flint has various parts levels of recortication and some evidence of glacial/sand gloss on areas where retouch has occured. The cortex on the butt end is very rough and white.

Measurements: 48.09mm wide, 52.29mm long, 19.51mm thick and 52.14g in weight.
