Copper alloy thimble fragment. Pressed metal conical or domed thimble with a foot ring and its wall otherwise occupied by finely machine stamped circular pits which appear as if rising up the wall in diagonal lines from right to left. The top bears a worn grid or lattice of pits. The lower part is frayed. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1850-1900.
