Post-Medieval copper alloy sword belt hanger. The object is roughly foliate in form, with moulded decoration forming a leaf pattern, a trefoil shaped terminal and hook at the base. There are two circular fixing holes, one at either end of the plate the top hole is encrusted in iron corrosion that is the remains of the rivet.
