An incomplete copper alloy nail cleaner with a swollen blade of Roman date (AD 50-150). The blade of the object is 'leaf' shaped, widening just below the shoulders then narrowing to the tip. The blade is flat, and slightly curved in profile. The neck and tip of cleaner narrow and terminate in old and abraded breaks. A small portion of the circular loop above the neck is retained oriented at a 90 degree to the blade.
The object is light green in colour with a slightly pitted and corroded patina.
