A Post-Medieval copper alloy advertising token dated to the late 18th century. The token advertises the company Dixon & Parkers, a Nottingham based outfitters, renowned for making school uniforms. The obverse of the object contains a border bearing the legend Dixon & Parker at the apex, with Nottingham etched at the bottom. Separating the apex and the bottom are two pellets on either side. The central zone contains the Nottingham address of the firm, 3 to 9 Lister Gate. On the reverse a border surrounds the token. Just underneath the border is an encircling motif of foliage. In the central zone is a inscription reading CLOTHE YOUR BOYS AT DIXON & PARKERS.

The oject is of local historical interest and significance.
