Copper alloy buckle. Cast sub-rectangular D-section frame with a round section strap bar set forward of the rest and with a slightly wavy profile, an arrangement opposite to that appearing on the other accompanying buckles of this form. Iron staining on the strap bar suggests the object was deposited with an iron pin attached [now lost]. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1800-1900.
