A complete cast copper alloy weight from the post medieval period (AD1540-1900).
The weight is a bulbous acorn shape with two concentric grooves around the top section. It has a small raised circular knop to the top and the base is flattened off and formed into a circular plinth. The weight's patina is darker green in the top section and a lighter green to the lower and base areas.
The weight's diameter is 24.29mm, it is 21.42mm high and weights 28.24g
