A cast copper-alloy Medieval open thimble. It has a truncated-cone shape and has the exterior surface decorated with hand drilled indentations which tend to be alligned in vertical lines. The internal surface has trasversal smoothing marks.
The shape and type suggest the period AD 1350-1450.
