~~Early Medieval, Anglo-Saxon iron sword blade fragment. This fragment has heavily corroded with truncated forward and rear ends, the blades are parallel and do no0t appear to taper suggesting that this would have come from somewhere in the middle of the sword. The edges of the blade are corroded and uneven, the spine of the sword appears to be flat although this heavily encrusted in corrosion.
