A copper alloy hook from a sword belt dating from c. 1600 - 1700 (Read, 2008; pp 221-2, nos 797-800). An oval plate bearing three simplistic flowers each formed of one circular centre and four oval petals. It has a rounded attatchment knop on one end and a slightly projected ridged collar at the juncture of the plate and the hook. It is coated in a patchy brown and dark green patina. Length 66.5mm, width 28.7mm and weight 18.57g.
