Palaeolithic (Upper) to Neolithic (Later) fabricator on a cresting flake, 57mm long, 12mm wide, 8mm thick and 6.6g in weight. Rod shaped piece made on caramel brown semi-translucent flint that has mostly turned light blue through patination. This piece was orginally removed from the core as a cresting flake but has then been utilised as a fabricator. It has been extensively worked on the ventral face and both ends have been rounded through use.
