An Iron Age copper-alloy unit attributed to Cunobelin dating to the period AD 10 to 40. The obverse depicts a horse advancing right with a naked rider raising spear and holding shield, below 'NOB', above tail 'CV'. The reverse depicts a helmeted figure standing facing, head left, holding shield in left hand and resting on spear in right. [TASCIO] to left, 'VANTIS' to right. cf. Hobbs 1961.
