Probably a Post Medieval copper alloy weight. The object is circular in plan and one face is concave. Possibly an imitation of an official trade weight. The marks usually found on such weights are missing from this example and this also makes it difficult to assign a period of manufacture. Probably dates to between c1500 and c1800 AD, but could well be earlier. The diameter is 36mm and the weight 23.92g.
