An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman Hod Hill brooch dating from c. AD 43-75.The brooch is missing the rolled head and pin. The bow of the brooch has a rectangular panel arranged vertically with a moulded raised sawtooth-style rib down the centre. The lower section of the bow tapers towards a rounded terminal knop. The catch-plate is retained on the reverse.
