Late Medieval copper alloy single loop trapezoidal buckle frame. It is an asymmetric trapezoid in plan, with an expanded outer edge and a recessed strap bar. The front edge and sides of the buckle are bevelled, creating a convex side profile. The front edge has been decorated with four diagonal paired rows of impressed dots. The reverse of the buckle frame is concave and undecorated. The pin is absent. The buckle shares similarities with Whitehead's No.133 and No.167. Dates to between c1300 and c1500 AD.
The buckle frame measures 26mm in length, 13mm wide, and weighs 3.28g.
