A cast copper-alloy ring dating to the Medieval or early post-medieval period. The ring has bevelled edges and there are traces of filing marks which indicates that the ring was made in a mould. These objects are hard to date without contextual information however the form and method of manufacture suggests a medeival or early post-medieval date, c. AD 1200-1600. Their function is uncertain but may be related to harnesses.
