A cast copper-alloy ring, probably dating from the Late Iron Age to the late early-medieval period. The ring has bevelled edges and a broadly lozengiform cross section. There is some wear to one side, which may indicate where a strap or similar was secured. These objects are very difficult to date without contextual information however the form and patina suggest a late Iron Age to medieval date.
