A complete Medieval silver penny of Edward II (1307-1327), minted at Canterbury. Class 11a2, 1311-1312 (North 1991: 36, ref: 1060/2).

Obverse: EDW[AR AN]GL DN[S hYB]; Crowned bust facing with a bifoliate crown and wedged drapery.

Reverse: CIVI/TAS/CAN/[TOR]; Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant.

Diameter: 18.4mm. Weight: 1.31g. DA=12:9.
