Mesolithic core rejuvenation flake of opaque grey/brown flint, roughly triangular in profile with a striking platform at one end, with a curved profile and ripple marks to the ventral side, and three facets on the dorsal side, with a hinge fracture toward the proximal end which appears to indicate bipolar working. It has brown cortex remaining on the proximal end, and the distal end has possible invasive retouch - as the tip is missing due to a (probably recent, as not recorticated) break this is unclear.
The struck surfaces are recorticated apart from a couple of places along the edges & at the distal end, where more recent damage has occurred.
Length 33.2mm, width 14.9mm, thickness 8.0mm, mass 3.3g.
