A post-medieval copper-alloy coin weight for the second coinage double crown of James I, dating c. 1604-1619. It is circular in plan with neatly chamfered edges. The obverse depicts a crowned bust facing right surrounded by the inscription I R M BRITAN. Reverse: double crown with XI/s below (11 shillings). C.f Withers, P and Withers ( 1995), p.13, see also WILT-6103B9 on the PAS database.
