A silver Medieval coin; a short cross penny of Henry III (AD 1216 - 1272), Class 8c (formerly class 8b3) dating from AD 1244- 1247. It was struck by NICHOLE at the London mint. See North (1994) Volume I, number 981 on page 223. The coin is 15.7mm diameter, 0.7mm thick and 0.96g.
