A fragment of an unidentified post-Medieval or Modern copper-alloy and wooden object.

This hinge-like object has a cylindrical tube with a transverse pin through the centre. One arm appears be missing. The incomplete arm consists of strips of wood and copper-alloy kept together by two copper-alloy pins. On one side of the central piece of wood there is a single strip of copper-alloy. On the other side there is a strip of copper-alloy then a strip of wood and then another strip of copper-alloy.

Length: 25.6mm; width: 12.3mm; thickness: 8.6mm. Weight: 3.65.

It is possible that the object is part of dividers.
