An incomplete early Anglo-Saxon copper alloy small long brooch. The head plate is flat, square, and has an integral half-rounded knop at the top. The top to the left and right sides of the headplate are missing. The headplate is filled with a large ring-and-dot motif comprising a central recessed dot surrounded by two recessed concentric circles. An incomplete single lug is located in the centre of the reverse.
The headplate has fractured across the bottom and is completely detached from the bow. The bow is incomplete but was found in the same part of the field some time later than the headplate. The bow is arched and faceted.
