Medieval copper alloy English jetton of the Sterling head series. Class 15, Mernick type 2d.3 / 43 dating to AD 1320 to 1335. Sterling bust facing / long cross moline with 3-pellet clusters in each angle; border has pellets between the curling ends of the cross which contain small dots. Weight is 1.36g, diameter 19.2mm, thickness 0.9mm.
This is similar to Mitchener (1988:103) type 142, but has pellets rather than saltires in the reverse border.
