An incomplete Modern solid lead alloy toy horse with an integral mounted soldier, possibly a hussar.
The horse's head and tail as well as most of its legs are missing. The soldier's head and feet are missing.
This model is moulded on both sides. The rider is sitting upright on a saddle cloth with a prominent border and a woollen shabraque. The rider may be carrying an upright weapon in his right hand and the left hand is holding the reigns. Behind the rider's left leg, a vertical feature may be a sword or rapier.
This model is greyish buff. There is no indication of any paint.
Length: 22.4mm; width: 21.0mm; thickness: 5.6mm. Weight: 8.06g.
This toy was found close to a footpath about 1-2 metres from find: IOW-CE6490.
